If you decide to join a lodge, you will be asked for certain fees, which under Grand Lodge rules, have to be paid prior to joining. These will include a one-off registration fee to Grand Lodge & Provincial Grand Lodge.

There is an annual subscription to Ipsley Lodge payable from the first of April each year of £147.00 which can be paid by quarterly by direct debit. If you join part way through a year the fee is reduced accordingly.

After the meeting there is a Festive Board where you are free to dine with your brethren or go home after the Lodge meeting, again this is your choice and there will never be any pressure on you to stay. The meal is usually 3 courses and costs £19.00. We collect the dining fee on the evening. We usually hold a raffle and take a collection for charity during the meal, but you are under no obligation to take part.

Ipsley Lodge has a dress code in line with most lodges which requests that members wear a dark lounge suit, shirt with a white collar, a black tie and black shoes. In time, certain items of regalia will be required, which initially will not be expensive.

We organise social events during the year as a way to raise money for charity, to meet potential new members and to involve partners in the social side of Freemasonry. You will never be pressurized into attending them or to donate money at these events. Participation in the social events is a great way to have some fun and raise some money for charity.
